Nine things that move the price

The first four set most of the labour. The last two can bring the total down.

How much racking

The number of sections and beam levels. More levels means more beams to take off by hand.

More sections, more crew time

How tall

Frames over 20 ft, or more than three beam levels, need lifts and more care coming down.

Over 20 ft costs more per section

Anchors and the floor

How many anchors hold each frame. We cut every anchor flush with the floor; filled holes or floor repairs are quoted on top.

Extra floor work adds to the job

Getting it out

Dock doors, a freight elevator, a long carry to the truck, building hours and sign-in rules.

No dock or tight hours add time

Your date

Short notice costs the same: there is no rush charge. Evenings and weekends are priced on the quote.

After-hours costs more

What is on the racks

Racks empty and aisles clear on the first crew day keeps the crew on the racking.

Clearing product is extra

Damage

Bent columns or crushed beams come down more slowly and are worth less.

Heavy damage adds time

What the steel is worth

Racking we can resell gets an offer, shown as a credit on your quote.

Good racking lowers the total

Letting us keep Redirack

If it is Redirack and you don’t need to sell it, let us keep it.

No labour charge on Redirack we keep

Removal price questions

Why don’t you list a price per section?

Two jobs with the same number of sections can take very different crew time because of height, anchors and access. We price from your photos. If the job turns out different on the day, we tell you before the crew does the extra work.

Is a site visit extra?

No. Site visits in the GTA are free. Send a few photos first so we arrive ready to price it.

Can the racking pay for the removal?

Sometimes. Good racking gets an offer that comes off your quote. Redirack you don’t need to sell: no labour charge if we keep it. Other brands are priced from your photos, with an offer on anything we can resell.

Is HST included?

Prices are in Canadian dollars, before HST. HST is shown on the quote.
